A constantly evolving business

When LinguiScience was founded back in November 2004, the translation industry was light years away from what it is today. At that time, social media was in its early stages, computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools were rudimentary and machine translation was inaccurate to say the least. Since then, we’ve witnessed an explosion of digital content, CAT tools have evolved to become an integral part of the translation process, and machine translation technologies have improved immensely. Furthermore, the competition is fierce but thanks to its personalized service, its persistence on getting the job done right, and its relentless drive to always do more, LS has been able to carve out its place in the market.

LinguiScience’s priority is to preserve the image of its clients by producing translations of equal if not superior quality to the original documents.

Some of our achievements over the past 15 years:

• NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada, a world-renowned bearing manufacturer, entrusted us with the mandate of translating the marketing content of their bearing product line and service portfolio so that they could promote their brand in Quebec. Today, their website and brochures are available in both official languages.
• Cole-Parmer Canada, a manufacturer and distributor of laboratory equipment and supplies, has been doing business with us since our very beginnings. Material Safety Data Sheets, newsletters, user manuals, websites, etc. are now available to French-speaking consumers thanks to our good care.
• Canon Medical Systems Canada Ltd, formerly Toshiba Medical, worldwide leader of diagnostic imaging solutions has been entrusting us the translation of their whitepapers, advertisement documents and website material since 2013. Thanks to our collaboration, French-speaking healthcare professionals can fully understand all the features of the Canon Medical imaging equipment they use or plan on purchasing.
