Just like Facebook, LinguiScience is also celebrating its 13th year anniversary. And although LinguiScience’s notoriety is not of the same magnitude as that of Facebook’s, the fact remains that we’ve come a long way since the beginning! We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their loyalty throughout these years.
Hard to believe that 13 years have passed since the day our founder, Sonia Gouin, announced to her friends and family that she was starting her own translation services business: LinguiScience. This business, that stemmed from Sonia’s desire to combine her love of words with her passion for sciences, has earned itself a solid reputation. And know that 13 years later, she still gets the same satisfaction in finding the exact word or expression to translate her customers’ ideas.
In the initial stages, Sonia handled all of the translation and administrative tasks herself but today, she is surrounded by a team composed of five translators whose mother tongues are English, French or Spanish, a graphic designer, an accountant, a webmaster and a computer technician.
Although her instinct, rigor and eagerness to meet the needs of her clients mostly account for the success of LinguiScience, Sonia says that it is easy to make her customers happy because they are so nice and easy to work with!
LinguiScience offers high-quality translation services of French, English, and Spanish copy, specializing primarily in scientific and technical material. Editing, proofreading, and post-machine translation editing (PMET) are also available.
Although LinguiScience acts as a subcontractor of translation services for its customers, they quickly become their linguistic partner.
